Muriel
Anderson is well known in the US as a wonderful entertainer and
as the organiser of the legendary All Star Guitar Nights at the
Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
Muriel plays popular
music and well known classical pieces on the classical guitar.

Steve
Lawson is an incredibly gifted bass player who uses his six string
bass and looping systems to construct complete pieces on-the-fly.
This will be a unique
evening that should appeal to anyone who loves music. Absolutely
not to be missed !!!

& Gert de Meijer |

Gert
will be playing his own very original compositions in traditional
fingerpicking and new age styles on six and twelve string guitar.Gert
numbers John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Bruce Cockburn and Richard Thompson
among his favourite players.
Gert will also be playing
on the 30th of May at the famous Troubadour coffee house on Old

Both musicians are
extremely gifted guitarists and this promises to be a very unusual
evening with some wonderful music. |

Forbes
will be playing some Brazilian pieces and his own arrangements of
some Chick Corea compositions on classical guitar. Forbes is perhaps
most publicly known for his work in 1982 with the six piece 'Incantation'
who had a big hit with their Andean pan-pipe instrumental - 'Cacharpaya'. |

& Friends (Guitar, drums, bass, keyboards) |

Hugh
and the band will be playing a selection of popular jazz standards
by John Coltrane, Duke Ellington and Thelonius Monk and showcasing
tunes from his new smooth jazz release - 'Synchromatic'.
So for a concert of
timeless jazz classics and some fine new compositions played 21st
Century style by some of the finest muscicians in the country
come along on the 4th of June. |
